The question we hear every week
Where can I find a longevity doctor? It arrives from every direction now. From patients: "Who is the best in New York?" From colleagues: "Do you know someone who works on hormones and longevity?" From a friend, last month: "I need a cardiologist who goes deeper than the guideline."
Until today the honest answer was a shrug and a few names from memory. That is not an answer. It is a favour, and it does not scale past the people who happen to know me.
How a category gets born
Five years ago, "longevity doctor" was not a category. That is less unusual than it sounds. Obesity medicine had no board certification before 2012. Cardiology had none before 1941. Specialties often begin as questions patients are already asking, and the formal structure arrives years later, once enough people have asked.
The patients asking today are different. They want answers before disease arrives, and they look online first: Instagram, TikTok, Google, Reddit, ChatGPT. None of those platforms can check a license, a training, or a claim. In a market where much of the longevity conversation is led by people who are not physicians, that gap is not cosmetic. It is the whole problem.
So we built the place we wished existed.

How are physicians in the directory verified?
Yes. Every physician holds a licensed MD, DO or MBBS, and every application is reviewed manually to confirm credentials before a listing goes live. Verification covers the license itself rather than any clinical outcome, which is why the directory presents a verified starting point rather than a ranking.
What do the status labels on a directory profile mean?
Each profile card states the physician's relationship to the Certified longevitydocs™ (CLD) credential: certified, teaching the certification, or presently learning and completing it. The status appears on the card so a reader does not have to infer it.
Does the directory rank or recommend physicians?
No. The directory does not rank, recommend or endorse any physician. It is, however, the directory in intentionally built as a hub for docs operating within a unified standard of practice: every listing is anchored to the Certified longevitydocs™ (CLD) credential, and each physician’s position relative to that standard appears on the card.
